#4 Creating Healthy Boundaries

When we are not aware of our own boundaries, we tend to forget where the line is between the end of our problems and the beginning of someone else’s.

When we are not exercising healthy boundaries, we have very little separation between us and the world around us. When we have a healthy set of boundaries we are able to truly be present for those we care about. We can see the challenges they are going through and not have to try to fix it. We can just listen to them, fully and deeply. We can ask questions to learn more. This is a stark contrast to diving deeply into their space and then pushing them to resolve it so we can feel well again.
